Bills

The pile grows
With each day passed
It won’t go away
The problem’s in mass

Envelopes, sealed
To open is pain
Not knowing, bliss
Reality disdained

Inevitable, unavoidable
Time marches past
Organize the pile
Everything opened at last

Worse than expected
Too many to count
Every bill imagined
Due now, no doubt

Stretch thin
Through the summer
Chip them away
Such a bummer
Work till they’re gone
Life is funner:)
